Aidan Gouveia

Aidan is an actor, writer and artist educator. He is a graduate of TMU’s School of Performance’s Acting Program. With a career spanning over film, television and theatre, Aidan’s career has taken him to festivals such as TIFF and to countries as far as Cuba, Belgium and France. Having a huge passion for Theatre for Young Audiences, Aidan spent a year touring plays and leading workshops in schools across Europe. He most recently wrote a play called Stiff and Sons that had its world premiere at Theatre by the Bay’s 2023 Simcoe County Theatre Festival. He also performed in their mainstage production: Mary of Shanty Bay in 2022. He is so excited to continue sharing his passion for theatre with students at YPT.
