Emily Langer

Emily is a theatre administrator and educator who is passionate about creating accessible arts spaces. She previously worked with the Canadian Opera Company, Electric Moon Theatre Company, Flato Markham Theatre and the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. Emily has a degree in Arts Administration and Cultural Management from Humber College, as well as her Bachelors’ of Education and BAH in Drama from Queen’s University. She is so thrilled to be the Drama School Coordinator at YPT and looks forward to all the adventures and learning to come.

Describe your favourite Drama School memory:

There is not one specific memory I can point to, but instead a collective feeling of belonging. Every class represents a piece of the YPT family and that is something I know I will cherish forever.

What would the central theme of a play written about you be?

The central theme of a play written about me would definitely be smiling through it all.
