Jason Shulha

Jason is an Ontario certified teacher and has recently returned to Canada after 12 years of teaching drama overseas. He has taught in Mexico, Turkey, and in the UAE. Jason’s passion for drama has not only taken him around the world but through the educational gauntlet as well. He has a PhD in Education from Queen’s University. His studies focused on the nature of learning and exploration in ensemble theatre. His favourite things about teaching are working with students in discovering their dramatic voices, as well as using the forms and conventions of drama to explore and bring to fruition the creative potential contained with the minds, bodies, and hearts of young people. Jason feels very fortunate to be a part of the YPT teaching faculty.
