RBC WaterPark Place

In-person Fall 2021 classes will be held at: RBC WaterPark Place, 88 Queens Quay West, Toronto.

WaterPark Place takes up the entire block, and can be accessed by Queen’s Quay West, as well as Bay Street and Harbour Street. It is a short walk down Bay Street from Union Subway station.

Our classes will take place in the WaterPark Athletics Studio, located on the ground floor, on the north east side of the building. YPT is the sole occupant of this space on weekends.

Please look for the YPT sign outside the studio entrance. We will have wayfinding signs posted for the first two weeks.

Washrooms:
We have exclusive access to the Athletics Studio men’s and women’s washrooms.

On-site seating area:
There is a food court on the mezzanine level, including a large and open seating area, if parents wish to wait on-site. Please note that parents will not be allowed to enter the Athletics Studio.

Parking:
Parking is available under the building, which can be accessed from Queen’s Quay West, as well as in the surrounding area.

Ventilation:
WaterPark Place follows best practices identified by ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers).

The building is equipped with a building automation system that automatically adjusts airflow, air pressure, temperature and humidity. The indoor air is replaced 4 to 6 times every hour. They use MERV 13-rated filters, which ASHRAE recommends for office buildings.

Cleaning:
WaterPark Place will be cleaning and disinfecting the studio and washrooms before and after each class. YPT Staff will have a disinfectant cleaning solution called Quat360 – Disinfectant Cleaner (DIN# 02499703) and Clorox Healthcare – Bleach Germicidal Disinfectant Wipes (DIN# 02465671) for any ad hoc cleaning that is required.
