Andrea Houssin

Andrea is an actor, playwright, and Resident Artist Educator at YPT. Andrea’s work has been seen across the country, with such companies as Mirvish Productions; the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre; Western Canada Theatre; Thousand Islands Playhouse; and many productions in her hometown of Winnipeg. Andrea has led workshops for the Paprika Festival; Randolph Academy; MTYP; and most recently, created a series of original radio plays with student actors for Expect Theatre’s KidCAST. Theatre is a powerful tool that fosters self-esteem, empathy, and connection to the world around us. Andrea is thrilled to be continuing her journey at YPT.
