Description
“Play in a Day” is back at YPT!
Join us on the PA Day on November 17th to create a “Play in a Day”. Students will work with their peers and an artist educator to create a brand new original performance in just one day! They will determine their own characters and plot, and perform their brand new play for friends and family at the end of the day.
This program is a great way for students to make new friends, develop their teamwork skills and get creative. Join us for a fun day and learn how much you can create in just one day!
Our PA Day program runs from 9:00AM – 3:30PM, with a break for lunch and a trip to David Crombie Park (131 The Esplanade). Please send students with appropriate outdoor clothing.
At 3:30PM, parents, friends and family are invited to join us at YPT 161 Studios (161 Frederick St.) to watch the premiere of these newly created performances. There is a maximum of two guests per student for the end of day show.
Grades 1-3 will be facilitated by Lauren Wolanski and Grades 4-6 will be facilitated by Aidan Gouveia – see bios below.
