Senior Company is an advanced program for students in Grades 9-12 seeking intensive actor training.

Students in Senior Company are directed by a professional director in a full-length scripted play. Through regular training and a rehearsal process, Senior Company members will explore their voices as creative artists, learn how to lift the script off the page, and develop as performers.

What to Expect from Senior Company:

• Work on a full-length play script from start to finish and watch a production come to life. Senior Company productions are typically 1–1.5 hours in length.
• Participate in an incredibly collaborative environment and be part of a supportive ensemble of like-minded teens.
• Explore production-related roles outside of acting, including assistant director, choreographer, stage manager, costume designer and props manager.
• Past Senior Company productions include Concord Floral by Jordan Tannahill, It Snows by Bryony Lavery, Steven Hoggett & Scott Graham, and She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen.

The program is held in classrooms at YPT 161 Studios (161 Frederick St.) – just across the street from our theatre on Front Street East. From January to June, 2026 the Senior Company meets on Sundays from 1:00PM – 4:00PM.

Please Note:

• Auditions will take place in person at YPT 161 Studios (161 Frederick St) in November (date TBD)
• Senior Company’s final performance will be held the weekend of June 6-7, 2026
• The class price includes tax. If your child is 14 years old or younger, tax will be refunded to you
• Please note there are no classes February 15, March 22, April 5 and May 17, 2026.
