Description

We are very excited to be venturing into the world of virtual learning and fun with our new Summer 2020 Camps! Recognizing that there is still a clear need to maintain physical distancing, we have transformed our in-person Summer Drama Camps into Online Drama Camps for JK-Gr. 7 and Gr. 8-12

Studio collage

We’ve adapted our historic theatre with live-stream studios – where many of our camps are broadcast live. Facilitated by our experienced faculty, we’re offering a selection of online courses throughout July and August. In addition to traditional drama classes, we’re excited to present new specialty camps for youth, including Contemporary Monologues, Visual Media Story-Telling and Shakespeare! Don’t miss out – there’s still time to register!

  • Visual Media Story-Telling camp provides participants a chance to create awesome short videos. The camp is designed to help students understand the elements of visual story-telling: investigating how to intentionally place characters in a frame, and how to clearly break a story down into individual shots. Participants will also learn how to improve their stories with the magic of editing. We will start with a single idea and go through the process of video production from pre-production to exporting the final cut. At the end of camp, there will be a presentation of all the amazing short videos participants have created.
