Q&A with Marissa – Summer 2022
What is your favorite part about teaching drama?
My favourite part of teaching is watching children grow in their craft. As an educator, I have the pleasure of nurturing children to reach their fullest potential in addition to exploring their imagination. I also simply enjoy having fun with kids doing games and various activities!
What is your favorite summer time activity?
I love just being in the sun! Every summer my goal is to try something new and explore new places. I enjoy swimming at the beach, camping, bike rides and obstacle courses!
If a play was written about you, what would be the central theme?
The central theme would be focused on evolving into your true self. Each chapter is very mysterious and things seem to be falling apart when they are simply falling into place!
What are you looking forward to most about being in person for Summer?
Physical interaction makes a huge difference in theatre! Being in each other’s presence and building an environment of belonging and engagement!
