The Story of the Blue Planet

A SPECIAL STORYTELLING EVENT
Icelandic author Andri Snær Magnason is bringing families a wonderful way to pass the time at home with a special reading of his award-winning children’s novel, The Story of the Blue Planet! YPT is looking forward to presenting a theatrical production of Blue Planet next season. Beloved by audiences, and a favourite of Artistic Director Allen MacInnis, 2021 marks the 3rd time that YPT is producing the stage version of this clever and cautionary tale of youth taking flight (details to come!).

Storytelling Schedule
Andri’s reading of the The Story of the Blue Planet has 7 parts. Starting on the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day – Wednesday, April 22 – we will share the 7 videos, posting one a day here on Inside With Imagination – see videos below. 

The readings culminate in a special live Q&A session with Andri himself on April 29 at 4pm ET! You and your family can ask any questions you may have about the book on the Iceland Naturally Facebook page.
